- N.Y. RAILROAD GAME
- ==================
- January 1992
-
-
- The N.Y. Railroad Game is written in MS Visual Basic (German), under
- DOS4. It therefore requires MS Windows 3.0, and the Runtime System
- VBRUN100.DLL.
-
- After starting the game, and having entered an ID Name, the trains run
- in automatic mode. All signalling is programmed, in order to avoid train
- crashes. Trains come in from three corners, and are timed randomly. A
- bell rings before the next train comes in.
-
- An option button can be pressed with the mouse, for changing into manual
- mode. The signalling then must be done with the mouse, by pressing on
- the signal (signals switch between red and green).
-
- During signal switching errors, trains can crash into each other.
- Crashes are counted up and compared to the time elapsed. An execessive
- crash frequency is reported on a message table, and the game ends with
- the current run.
-
- The END button must be used to leave the N.Y. Railroad Game.
